The Peitian AIR3SC-400 is an ultra-compact, small and agile 4-axis Chinese SCARA robot designed for high-speed, high-precision pick-and-place and rapid handling in the tightest automation environments. With a 3 kg maximum payload, a 400 mm reach, and an exceptional position repeatability of ±0.01 mm on axes 1+2, it is the smallest and most precise model in the Peitian SCARA family — purpose-built for applications where accuracy, speed and minimal footprint must coexist in a single robot body weighing just 14.4 kg.
Despite its compact dimensions, the AIR3SC-400 delivers remarkable kinematic performance. Axes 1 and 2 each reach 600°/s independently, while the combined axes 1+2 speed reaches 6,000 mm/s and axis 4 spins at up to 2,600°/s — the highest axis 4 speed of any model in the Peitian SCARA lineup. This makes it the natural choice for applications demanding the fastest possible rotational response, such as precision dispensing, small component insertion, and high-frequency sorting tasks where every millisecond of cycle time matters.
The integrated dressing design routes all cables and pneumatic lines internally through the arm structure, eliminating external corrugated hoses that would otherwise interfere with tooling, fixtures or adjacent equipment. The small arm interface provides 20 user IO channels and 2 pneumatic ports (φ6) directly at the end effector, simplifying gripper and tooling integration in even the most compact cell layouts. A single Z-stroke variant of 150 mm is available, optimised for the shallow vertical clearances typical of benchtop assembly and precision handling applications.
Controlled by the ultra-compact Peitian inCube2S-6 controller, the AIR3SC-400 is one of the simplest and most space-efficient Chinese robots to deploy in both new and existing production lines. Floor-mount only, it is ideal for inline precision assembly, electronics manufacturing, laboratory automation, and any application where a small, fast, accurate Chinese SCARA robot needs to fit within an extremely limited installation envelope.
