The Peitian AIR12SC-700 is a high-speed, high-rigidity 4-axis Chinese SCARA robot designed for precise, fast-cycle assembly, handling and pick-and-place automation in the most compact production environments. With a 12 kg maximum payload, a 700 mm reach, and a position repeatability of ±0.02 mm on axes 1+2, it is the shortest-reach model in the Peitian AIR12SC family — purpose-built for tight robot cells where a small footprint and high inertia tolerance are the primary requirements.
With a maximum axis 4 inertia of 0.45 kg·m² and a rotational speed of 1,600°/s, the AIR12SC-700 handles significantly off-centre tooling and irregular part geometries without sacrificing speed or positional accuracy — making it one of the most capable compact Chinese SCARA robots available in Europe for applications involving custom grippers, asymmetric end effectors or multi-part fixtures. The robot weighs just 45 kg, making it the lightest model in the AIR12SC range and the easiest to install, reposition or integrate into existing lines.
The internal hollow wiring design eliminates all external corrugated conduits from the arm, keeping the robot cell clean and protecting cables and pneumatic lines from wear during continuous high-cycle operation. The integrated small arm interface delivers 20 user IO channels and 4 pneumatic ports (φ6) directly at the end effector mounting point, simplifying gripper and tooling integration without additional cable management hardware. An optional drip-proof and dust-proof version (IP54) extends operation to environments affected by humidity, dust and oil mist, while the optional ceiling-mount configuration enables overhead installation to maximise available floor space.
The Z-stroke is available in four variants — 200, 300, 400 and 600 mm — allowing precise adaptation to the vertical clearance of each specific application. Controlled by the compact Peitian inCube2S-20 controller, the AIR12SC-700 integrates efficiently into both new and existing production lines.
