The Peitian AIR20SC-1000 is a high-speed, high-rigidity 4-axis Chinese SCARA robot engineered for demanding assembly, handling and pick-and-place applications where cycle time, precision and reliability are paramount. With a 20 kg maximum payload, a 1000 mm reach, and a position repeatability of ±0.02 mm on axes 1+2, it delivers exceptional performance across a wide range of industrial automation tasks — including high-speed handling of large-sized and large-eccentric loads that would challenge conventional SCARA designs.
A standout feature of the AIR20SC-1000 is its high inertia tolerance — with a maximum allowable moment of inertia of 1 kg·m² on axis 4 — making it uniquely suited to moving bulky, off-centre components at speed without sacrificing accuracy or stability. The internal hollow wiring design eliminates all external corrugated conduits along the arm, minimising interference with tooling, fixtures and surrounding equipment. The integrated small arm interface provides 20 user IO channels and 4 pneumatic ports (φ6) directly at the end effector — simplifying gripper and tooling integration and keeping the cell layout clean. An optional drip-proof and dust-proof version (IP54) is available for operation in harsh environments involving humidity, dust and oil mist, while the optional ceiling-mount configuration enables effective use of overhead space and frees up valuable floor area.
Controlled by the compact Peitian inCube2S-20 controller, the AIR20SC-1000 integrates seamlessly into new and existing production lines. The Z-stroke is available in four variants — 200, 300, 400 and 600 mm — allowing precise tailoring to the vertical requirements of each application. Distributed across Europe exclusively by Peitian Europe, this Chinese SCARA robot comes with full local technical support from Italy.
