The Peitian AIR20SC-820 is a high-speed, high-rigidity 4-axis Chinese SCARA robot designed for precise, fast-cycle assembly, handling and pick-and-place automation in compact production cells. With a 20 kg maximum payload, an 825 mm reach, and a position repeatability of ±0.02 mm on axes 1+2, it combines outstanding kinematic performance with a footprint optimised for dense, space-constrained layouts.
A defining characteristic of the AIR20SC-820 is its high inertia tolerance — supporting a maximum allowable moment of inertia of 1 kg·m² on axis 4 — making it well-suited for high-speed handling of large-sized and large-eccentric components that conventional SCARA robots struggle to manage reliably. This makes it one of the most capable compact Chinese SCARA robots available in Europe for applications involving irregular, bulky or offset tooling.
The internal hollow wiring design removes all external corrugated conduits from the arm structure, minimising interference with end effectors, fixtures and surrounding equipment. The integrated small arm interface delivers 20 user IO channels and 4 pneumatic ports (φ6) directly at the tool mounting point, simplifying gripper integration and keeping the robot cell clean and serviceable. An optional drip-proof and dust-proof version (IP54) extends the AIR20SC-820’s operating range to environments involving humidity, dust and oil mist, while the optional ceiling-mount configuration frees up floor space and maximises the usable work envelope from above.
Controlled by the compact Peitian inCube2S-20 controller, the AIR20SC-820 integrates efficiently into both new and existing production lines. The Z-stroke is available in four variants — 200, 300, 400 and 600 mm — allowing precise adaptation to the vertical clearance of each specific application. Distributed across Europe exclusively by Peitian Europe, this Chinese SCARA robot is backed by full local technical support from Italy.
