The Peitian AIR12SC-600 is a high-speed, high-rigidity 4-axis Chinese SCARA robot engineered for precise, fast-cycle assembly, handling and pick-and-place automation in the smallest and most space-constrained production cells. With a 12 kg maximum payload, a 600 mm reach, and a position repeatability of ±0.02 mm on axes 1+2, it is the most compact model in the Peitian AIR12SC family — the natural choice when floor space is at an absolute premium and cycle speed in a tight work envelope is the decisive factor.
Weighing just 42 kg, the AIR12SC-600 is the lightest Chinese SCARA robot in the entire Peitian range, making it exceptionally easy to install, reposition and integrate into existing production lines or multi-robot cells. Despite its minimal footprint, it maintains the same 0.45 kg·m² maximum axis 4 inertia and 1,600°/s rotational speed as its larger siblings — ensuring it can handle off-centre tooling, asymmetric end effectors and irregular part geometries without compromising accuracy or throughput.
The internal hollow wiring design eliminates all external corrugated conduits from the arm structure, keeping the robot cell clean and protecting cables and pneumatic lines from wear during continuous high-cycle operation. The integrated small arm interface delivers 20 user IO channels and 4 pneumatic ports (φ6) directly at the end effector mounting point, simplifying gripper and tooling integration without additional cable routing hardware. An optional drip-proof and dust-proof version (IP54) extends the AIR12SC-600’s operating range to environments affected by humidity, dust and oil mist, while the optional ceiling-mount configuration — where the axis 2 range adjusts to −130°/+130° — frees up critical floor space for the most constrained layouts.
The Z-stroke is available in four variants — 200, 300, 400 and 600 mm — allowing precise adaptation to the vertical clearance of each specific application. Controlled by the compact Peitian inCube2S-20 controller, the AIR12SC-600 integrates efficiently into both new and existing production lines.
